DoSocial.me is a social media management agency that works with travel agencies and tour operators. We create destination content, run targeted Instagram and Facebook ads for the trips you want to sell, and send every booking inquiry straight to your team. Plans start at $350 a month, no contract. Ad spend is separate; we recommend at least $150–$300 a month, so plan for roughly $500–$650 a month in total.
Travel is sold on feeling first. People see a beach, a mountain village or a city at night, and only then start thinking about dates and prices. More and more of that first spark happens on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
Social media management for travel agencies is about catching people at that moment: showing them the trip, making your agency the obvious place to ask, and answering before they book somewhere else.
Why social media matters for travel agencies
A July 2025 survey of 1,000 US travelers by iSeatz and Talker Research shows how far social media has moved into travel planning.
| Finding | Figure | What it means for agencies |
|---|---|---|
| Social media is their primary source of travel inspiration | 52% Gen Z · 46% Millennials | If you are not on their feed, you are not in their plans |
| Go to social media first when researching | 27% of all travelers | Search engines still lead at 43%, but social media is now a real research channel |
| Say influencers significantly affect where they go and how they book | Nearly 40% | Trusted faces and real trips sell better than brochures |
| Would book directly from social media if secure and simple | 53% Millennials · 52% Gen Z | Make asking about a trip as easy as sending a message |

A real agency result
Season Travel is a travel agency we work with on content, ads and targeting. Here is what they told us:
“They built a social media strategy that actually works for a travel agency. We now receive consistent inquiries from people ready to book.”
Season Travel · Travel agencyOne client is one example, not a promise. What it shows is the approach: content that sells the trip, ads aimed at the right travelers, and a fast way to ask.
How we adapt our service for travel agencies
Our plans are the same for every industry. What changes is how we use them. For a travel agency, that means:
Campaigns per trip
Separate ads for each package, destination or date you want to sell, so a honeymoon offer and a family ski trip reach different people.
Planning by season
We start promoting trips when people start planning them, not when they leave: summer holidays in spring, winter breaks in autumn.
Inquiries, not likes
Every post and ad leads to one action: a message, WhatsApp, a call or your inquiry form. We set up quick replies so no traveler waits.
Retargeting
People rarely book a trip on first sight. Those who watched your video or visited your site see the offer again while they decide.
Trust content
Real client trips, reviews and your team's own travel, so people see a real agency behind the offer.
Monthly report you can check
Reach, inquiries and cost per inquiry. You tell us how many became bookings, so we judge results on sales, not clicks.
What is included depends on your plan: monthly reports, page design and retargeting start on Premium; reputation management and a dedicated account manager are included in Max. See the full list on our pricing.
What travel agencies should post
Short destination videos
Reels of places you sell, with the price "from" and the next step. Show the feeling, then make it bookable.
Real client trips
Photos and stories from clients who traveled with you, with their permission. Proof that your trips happen.
Ready-made packages
Clear offers: destination, dates, what's included, price from. People ask about a specific trip more easily than a vague idea.
Useful travel tips
Visa basics, best months to go, what to pack. Saved and shared posts keep you in mind until they are ready to book.
Last-minute and early-bird deals
Time-limited offers give people a reason to message today, not next month.

Plans from $350/month. No setup fees, no contracts.
Does it pay off? Do the math with your own numbers
We won't promise a number of bookings; nobody honest can. But you can check in two minutes whether social media can pay off for your agency.
Add up the monthly cost
Management fee plus ad spend. On our Mini plan with the minimum ad budget we recommend, that is about $500–$650 a month.
Take your average earnings per booking
Your commission or margin per trip, not the trip price. Use your own figures.
Divide cost by earnings
That is how many extra bookings a month you need to break even. If you earn $200 per booking, about three extra bookings a month cover a $600 budget.
Track it for two to three months
Count inquiries from social media and how many became bookings. Travel has long decision times, so give it a full season before judging.
The $200 figure is only an example to show the calculation. An inquiry is not a booking; track both.
What it costs
| Plan | Price | Posts | Platforms | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mini | $350 / mo | 2 per week | 2 | Small agencies and independent travel advisors starting with Instagram and Facebook |
| Premium | $750 / mo | 3 per week | 3 | Agencies selling several packages and wanting steady inquiries all year |
| Max | $1,550 / mo | 7 per week | 4 | Tour operators and agencies with many destinations and a daily presence |

Common mistakes travel agencies make
Pretty photos, no offer
A beautiful beach with no price, dates or next step gets likes, not inquiries.
Promoting too late
Advertising summer trips in June misses the people who booked in March.
Slow replies
Travelers ask several agencies at once. The first good answer usually wins.
Only stock images
Everyone uses the same stock beaches. Real client trips make you different.

Social media management for travel agencies: FAQ
How much does social media management cost for a travel agency?
At DoSocial.me, plans start at $350 a month for 2 posts a week on 2 platforms, with paid ads management included. Ad spend is separate and paid directly to the platform; we recommend at least $150–$300 a month, so a realistic starting budget is about $500–$650 a month in total.
Can social media really bring travel bookings?
Yes, when inspiring content is combined with targeted ads and an easy way to ask about a trip. Our client Season Travel, a travel agency, now receives consistent inquiries from people ready to book. Results depend on your destinations, prices and how quickly you reply.
Which platforms work best for travel agencies?
Instagram and Facebook for most agencies: they combine visual destination content, precise ad targeting and direct messages. TikTok is worth adding if you sell to younger travelers, who increasingly start their research on social media.
Is an inquiry the same as a booking?
No. An inquiry is someone asking about a trip; a booking is a paid trip. We report inquiries every month and ask you to tell us how many became bookings, so we judge results on sales.
Can you promote specific tours or packages?
Yes. We build campaigns around the packages, destinations and dates you want to sell, and send each one to the right audience.
How fast can we start?
Most clients are onboarded and live within 24–48 hours of signup. Paid ads can bring inquiries soon after launch; organic reach builds over two to three months.
Do you work with travel agencies outside the US?
Yes. We work with businesses worldwide, and content and ads can be run in your local language.
Is there a contract or a guarantee?
No contract: plans are monthly and can be cancelled anytime. New clients can request a refund of the service fee within 30 days, as set out in our refund policy. Ad spend paid to Meta is not refundable by us.
